Michele"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Michele Nash-Hoff has been in and out of                                       San Diego\u2019s high-tech manufacturing industry                                       since starting as an engineering secretary                                       at age 18.\u00a0 Her career includes being                                       part of the founding team of an electronic                                       component manufacturer and working in the                                       Marketing Department of Cubic Corporation\u2019s                                       Military Systems Division.\u00a0 She took                                       a hiatus from the high-tech industry for                                       a few years, during which time she graduated                                       from San Diego State University with a                                       bachelor\u2019s degree in French and Spanish                                       and was a substitute teacher at a private                                       elementary school.<\/p>\n<p>After returning to the industry, she became                                       Vice President of a sales agency covering                                       11 of the western states.\u00a0 After three                                       years, Michele left the company to form                                       her own sales agency, ElectroFab Sales,                                       to work with companies to help them select                                       the right manufacturing processes for their                                       new and existing products.<\/p>\n<p>In 1998, she also served as manager of the                                       San Diego Enterprise Center, a new business                                       incubator for start-up companies, while                                       continuing to run ElectroFab.\u00a0 The                                       National Business Incubation Association                                       published Michele\u2019s first book, <em>For                                       Profit Business Incubators<\/em>, that same                                       year.<\/p>\n<p>Michele has been president of the San Diego                                       Electronics Network, the San Diego Chapter                                       of the Electronics Representatives Association,                                       and The High Technology Foundation, as                                       well as several other professional and                                       non-profit organizations.\u00a0\u00a0 She                                       is an active member of the Soroptimist                                       International of San Diego club.<\/p>\n<p>She has a certificate in Total Quality Management                                       and is a 1994 graduate of San Diego\u2019s leadership                                       program (LEAD San Diego.)\u00a0\u00a0 She                                       has also taken classes in lean manufacturing                                       and Six Sigma.<\/p>\n<p>Michele is married to Michael Hoff and has                                       raised two sons and two daughters.\u00a0 She                                       enjoys spending time with her grandson                                       and six granddaughters.\u00a0 Her favorite                                       leisure activities are hiking in the mountains,                                       swimming, gardening, reading, and taking                                       tap and jazz dance
